Since 1919, Limmer has been dedicated to crafting the highest quality footwear. Known worldwide for precision, ruggedness, and timeless design, our custom hiking boots are built for those who have struggled with fit, have unique foot needs, or simply want the best hiking boots money can buy.

• Reserve Your Custom Boots Below - For decades, there has been a waitlist — “the backlog”— for Limmer Custom Boots. The backlog is about two years. Reserve your place in line with a nonrefundable deposit of only $100. 

• Process - When your name reaches the top of the backlog, we’ll notify you by mail. From there, we invite you to visit us within 30 days to schedule your fitting. During your visit, we’ll take final measurements and tracings, review any special requirements, and collect final payment. If you’re unable to visit within 30 days, you may extend your place at the top of the backlog for one year by making an additional deposit to hold your place in line.

• Note - To ensure the legendary Limmer fit, we ask all custom clients to visit our shop in Intervale, NH—just 1.5 hours from Portland, ME, or 3 hours from Boston, MA. Since 1950, the White Mountains, rivers, and trails around Intervale have been part of the Limmer story, and we look forward to sharing them with you. Or utilize one of our Regional Fitting Events.

• Guarantee - When we meet in person, we will guarantee the fit of your boots. If we do not meet with you in person, we can build your boots from self-taken measurements and will work closely together to refine the fit. However, please note that we cannot guarantee the fit without an in-person fitting.

• Nonrefundable / Nontransferable - The $100 deposit will be applied to the price of your custom boots and is nonrefundable, and nontransferable. If you purchase a custom deposit for another person as a gift, please contact us with the person's name when you make the reservation.
