LimmerFest - Intervale, NH - June 6th - 8th, 2025

We are excited to extend an invitation for you to join for the 3rd Annual LimmerFest, which happens to coincide with National Trails Day!

Join us for hiking, music, and time in the mountains that reminded Peter Limmer Sr. of his home in Bavaria. Also, if you are looking for a nudge, we will be giving away boots and other Limmer merchandise. Note - New Shirts are on the way :) 

• Friday June 6th  – 12PM - Arrive at Peter Limmer and Sons prior to Afternoon Hike, see below for hike details.
  • 6:30pm - "History of Building Trails in the White Mountains (in Limmer Boots)" - Dr. Peter Crane
  • Located at the Mount Washington Observatory Lecture Space in Downtown North Conway Google Maps
  • Suggested to donations to support the MWObs. Light refreshments provided.  7:30pm- Casual meet up a Flatbread Pizza in North Conway to continue discussion.
• Saturday June 7th
  • A variety of group hike outings, see hike options below.
    
  • 2:30PM - Join us for music with the Hickory Horned Devils and Diana's Bath Salts dinner at Ledge Brewing Company.
• Sunday June 8th
  • 9AM - Morning group hikes, see hike options below.

LimmerFest Hikes

Since we will be hiking in the White Mountain National Forest, we will manage the size of our hiking groups to be in compliance with all policy/protocols. 

Friday - Boulder Loop Trail, New Hampshire | AllTrails

• Meeting Time-1:00PM
• Meeting Location - Boulder Loop Trailhead Google Map
• Description - A family friendly hike off the Kancamagus Highway.
• Program - Join Local Trail Builders and US Forest Service Leadership for an educational guided hike learning about trail building and trail maintenance in the White Mountains.

Saturday - Mount Crawford via Davis Path Trail, New Hampshire | AllTrails

• Meeting Time - 8:30AM 
• Meeting Location - Davis Path Trailhead Google Maps
• Moderate Hike - A nice moderate hike, a favorite for locals in the area.
• Program - Join Local Trail Builders and US Forest Service Leadership for an educational guided hike learning about trail building and trail maintenance in the White Mountains. 

Saturday - Doublehead Ski Trail to North and South Doublehead | AllTrails 

• Meeting Time- 8:30AM
• Meeting Location - Doublehead Trailhead - Google Maps 
• Challenging Hike - A popular local hike, a favorite for locals in the area.

Saturday - Diana’s Baths & Echo Lake Trail | AllTrails

• Meeting Time - 8:30AM 
• Meeting Location - Diana's Baths - Google Maps
• Easy Hike - A nice easy/family hike, a favorite for locals in the area.
• Program - Join NH Audubon Society Conservation Director to learn about the ecology, flora, and wildlife in the area. 

Sunday - Dahl Sanctuary | AllTrails

• Meeting Time - 10:00AM 
• Meeting Location - Dahl Sanctuary - Google Maps (park behind LL Bean)
• Easy Hike - A nice easy/family hike.
• Program - Join NH Audubon Society Conservation Director to learn about the ecology, flora, and wildlife in the area. 

Sunday - US Forest Service: Volunteer Trail Maintenance Skills Day

• Meeting Time - 8:30 
• Meeting Location - Saco Ranger Station Google Map
• Program - Join USFS for trail maintenance skills.
• No experience needed, but participants should be prepared for a day on the trail including Long pants, Limmers or other sturdy hiking boots, Water, layers and rain gear
• USFS will provide PPE and tools.

• Program - Join Limmer bootmaker and avid hiker Emmett for the morning excursion
