We are excited to extend an invitation for you to join us for the 4th Annual LimmerFest, which coincides with National Trails Day, and continues the celebration of 100th anniversary of Peter Limmer Sr. arriving in America. 

Join us for hiking, music, and time in the mountains that reminded Mr. Limmer of his home in Bavaria. Also, if you are looking for a nudge, we will be giving away a pair of Limmer Boots and other Limmer merchandise

  • Friday June 5th – 12 PM - Arrive at Peter Limmer and Sons before Afternoon Hike, see below for hike details.
    • 6:00pm - Jed Williamson: Mount Washington Training Ground.
    • Located at the Mount Washington Observatory Lecture Space in Downtown North Conway Google Maps
    • Jed is a legend in the climbing Community and CV that includes past president of the American Alpine Club, President Emeritus of Sterling College, multiple first ascents, and long time editor of Accidents in North American Mountaineering.
    • Suggested to donations to support the MWObs. Light refreshments provided.  7:30pm- Casual meet up a Saco River Tap Haus in North Conway to continue discussion.
  • Saturday June 6th
    • 8:00 AM group hike outings and volunteer trail maintenance opportunities: see  options below.
    • 9AM-5PM Shop Open House. 10% of sales goes to Mount Washington Observatory
    • Boot and Merch Raffle, Coffee, Hot Dogs and Popcorn
    • 10AM-1PM Local Radio Station 93.5 WMWV Live broadcast from the Shop
    • Vibram Mobile Repair Truck will be on site
    • NH Fish & Game Officer (CORA) will be on site
    • NH Outdoor Council will be on site
    • 2 PM Hickory Horned Devils with Preform at Peter Limmer & Sons
    • As you conclude your hike, transition to Ledge Brewing Company. Entry is free, but donations to support the entertainment are greatly appreciated

    • 8:30 AM - Morning group hikes, see hike options below

LimmerFest Hikes

Since we will be hiking in the White Mountain National Forest, we will manage the size of our hiking groups to be in compliance with all policy/protocols. 

Friday - Boulder Loop Trail, New Hampshire | AllTrails

  • Meeting Time-1:00 PM
  • Meeting Location - Boulder Loop Trailhead Google Map
  • Description - A family-friendly hike off the Kancamagus Highway.
  • Program - Join Zeta, Limmer Bootmaker, and former trail builder

Saturday- Tin Mountain Conservation Center

Sunday

  • Meeting Time - 8:30 AM 
  • Meeting Location -Peter Limmer & Sons'
  • The group will determine a hike on Sunday Morning.

Saturday Evening 

For anyone who simply wants to take part in camaraderie with other Limmerfolk, the Ledge Brewing Company will be hosting a casual get-together.

We are also pleased to share that Penny's Public Tap House will be offering discounts and raffles for Limmer wearers all weekend long.
