Happy 100 Years of Peter Limmer Sr.’ s Arrival in America!

Saturday April 18^th – Join us at Peter Limmer & Sons for the 100^th Anniversary of US Arrival Open House! The Limmer Family at Ellis Island in New York on April 17, 1926. 

• The Century Boot - After 100 years of making black boots, we are happy to offer our Peter Limmer & Sons Benchmade Boot in BROWN! Made in-house in Intervale.

1. 1. SB Foot Tannery Leather - The leather has been sourced specifically to make these boots slightly lighter in weight and easier to break in. Limmer has been working with SB foot since the 1940s!
   2. Vintage Brass Hardware and Vibram Montagna Lug Eco Sole. 

• In-Person Fitting & Order — April 18th Only Stock sizes available for purchase at the Open House. 4–6 month lead time.
• After April 18, they will be available as a Custom Boot option through the custom boot waitlist. 

LimmerFest – Intervale, NH June 5-7, 2026 (4^th   Annual)

Join us for hiking, music, and time in the mountains that reminded Peter Limmer Sr. of his home in Bavaria. If you are looking for a nudge, we will be giving away boots and other Limmer merchandise!

• Friday June 5^th – Arrival, visit Peter Limmer & Sons, Afternoon Hikes, Evening gathering with Mount Washington Observatory (MWOBS) @ 6PM.
• Saturday June 6^th – Group Hikes in the White Mountains, followed by Open House at Peter Limmer & Sons, with food and music with the Hickory Horned Devils.
• Sunday June 7^th – Morning hike and departure.

• Custom Backlog Sign Up - Now is a great time to sign up on the backlog prior to the release of two upcoming videos that highlight our operations.
• Repairs - The Repairs department crushed through a mountain of boots this winter and of course there's no time like the present for preparing your boots for the summer season.
• In Person Fitting - We have a broad selection of stock boots available, feel free to stop anytime Tuesday-Saturday.
• Regional Fittings - in 2024, we introduced an optional program designed to make custom fittings more accessible in select "hub" cities. Learn more here!

• We have been working with our friends at Meindl and look forward to sharing some fun stock boot/shoe updates in a few months, keep an eye out!

Video Release

• Excited to share that we have been working with the Iron Snail and Carl Murawski on two videos that will highlight the Limmer family’s early influence and continued reliability in the world of hiking boots. We very much appreciate the work that both Carl and Michael provide for their followers and customers. They took a lot of time to learn about our boots, history, operations, and we are happy to call them friends!
