A Few 2024 Highlights!
- January – The Hiker – We received the first round of Hikers and quickly sold out! Feedback has been great, and we hope you have a chance to try out a pair!
- May – Stock Boot Production/Improvements – We traveled to Kirchanschöring to spend time with our friends at Meindl. The production team is incredible and continues to dial in all aspects of the Limmer stock boot! We are incredibly grateful for their friendship and focus on supporting Limmer customers with the best production boot available on the market!
- June – LimmerFest – Our 2nd LimmerFest was a great success! We were excited to see old friends and meet new friends as well! We had about 150 people in attendance! Begin making your plans and join us on June 7th for our 3rd annual event!
- Yosemite – If you’ve seen a few photos from of our 1st National Park, it’s because Chris took a temporary assignment serving as the General Manager of Recreation, which included providing leadership for the Yosemite Mountaineering School, Interpretive Services, Bikes, Rafts, but the primary focus was to set up the Historical Yosemite High Sierra Camps, Tuolumne Meadows Operations, and White Wolf Areas for the first time since 2018 and 2019. Happy to report that Chris is back, and that his Limmer Lightweight’s enjoyed carrying 80-100lb supply loads to the High Sierra Camps this summer!
- August, October, November – Peter Limmer & Sons Roving Measurement Operations – To best support our custom boot customers, Adam with Peter Limmer & Sons has designed a roving measurement program! He traveled to Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, and keep an eye out, because he may be visiting a city (or country) near you in 2025!
- October – Stitchdown BootCamp – In 2023, Adam traveled to Brooklyn to support our friend Ben Robinson’s first attempt to gather fine makers/creators of fine footwear at an event called Bootcamp! It was a great event and Adam decided that there needed to be a Limmer presence in 2024! Learn more about Stitchdown from our interview with Ben last year.
- November – Retail Operation – For the first time since 2007, Limmer will again be in a small number of select retailers, more on this to come!
- December – We send your family and you happy holiday greetings and best wishes for a great kickoff to 2025!
