LimmerFest June 2024, Hikers / Ultralight Heel Pocket, Spring Inventory Update

Posted by Chris Sawyer on

Hi Everyone, with Hiking Season right around the corner, we thought to reach out and share a few Spring Updates 😊

Inventory/Hiker/Ultralight Feedback – After shifting through size exchanges from our stock boot resupply from Meindl, the spring inventory is all up to date.

  • This includes a few remaining pairs of Hikers, Ultralights, and some out of stock/wide offerings.
  • New Hiker Shoe & Ultralight - The initial feedback on the Hikers and Ultralight's has been very positive.
    • The Hiker - On adding additional side reinforcements for support... "Amazing build quality and easily one of the most comfortable shoes out of the box.” - International Limmer Wearer
    • The Ultralight - On finding a supportive boot with updated heel pocket built on the Limmer Last... "I received the Ultralight's yesterday and haven't taken them off. I'm the happiest gal in Wyoming, if not the world." - Rancher in Wyoming (See photo of new heel pocket below).
      • Next Production - On the stock side, we will be with the Meindl team for the next Limmer production run next week, which will include more Hikers and the long-awaited Walker preorders.

      LimmerFest – Intervale, NH – May 31 – June 2, 2024 (2nd Annual 😊)

LimmerFest was a lot of fun last year, we hope you consider joining us for hiking, music, and time in the mountains that reminded Peter Limmer Sr. of his home in Bavaria. Also, if you are looking for a nudge, we will be giving away boots and other Limmer merchandise.

      • Friday May 31th – Arrival, visit Peter Limmer & Sons, Afternoon Hikes, Evening gathering with Mount Washington Observatory (MWOBS) Dr. Peter Crane.
      • Saturday June 1st – Wide variety of Group Hikes in the White Mountains, followed by music with the Hickory Horned Devils and dinner at Ledge Brewing Company.
      • Sunday June 2nd – Morning group hikes and departure.

We look forward to seeing you all at LimmerFest!

      • Custom Backlog Sign Up - Now is a great time to sign up on the backlog as we continue to focus on all your custom footwear needs.
      • Repairs -The Repairs department crushed through a mountain of boots this winter and our turnaround time right now is great for preparing your boots for the summer season.
      • In Person Fitting - We have a broad selection of stock boots available, feel free to stop anytime Tuesday-Saturday.

      • Looking forward to Limmerfest, May 31st, Have had my Limmers since June 1978. In June of that year, I noticed a man’s boots while hiking up to Falling Waters Trail. We both stopped to talk. He was about 70+ years old and from Germany! There is no way to mistake the great design of a Limmer Boot! We both smiled. I climbed on happily and thought it great to meet this way. A “Limmer moment”. Thanks!
